I provide individual and family therapy services to children ages 5-17, and to adults ages 18+. I have extensive experience helping children improve their emotional health after experiencing a challenging life transition (a move, the sudden death of a loved one, the birth of a new sibling, or the divorce of their parents, for example), or if they are struggling with their relationships because of bullying, abuse, or due to another stressor. I also have a passion for millennials, college-age students, and working professionals who are trying to cope with the stress of living in today’s political and socio-economic climate. I have years of experience treating trauma and C-PTSD, along with some of the resulting emotional challenges that result (including, but not limited to: depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, irritability, difficulty trusting others, and relationship challenges).
Life gets pretty busy, and it can be challenging finding the time in your schedule to commit to weekly therapy sessions in the office. I work with a lot of young adults with variable work schedules, children and families to look after, and other life commitments that seem to make it hard to find the time for therapy. I offer online video therapy sessions to address these concerns, or for those that prefer the convivence and comfort of being at home for their session. The same fees apply for online sessions as they would for in-person sessions. Please let me know if this is something you're interested in.
I offer various groups as an opportunity to connect with and learn from others who are experiencing circumstances similar to their own. Please click here to check out my current groups.
I also contract with local organizations to bring mental health awareness to the greater community. I enjoy facilitating workshops that address barriers to workplace productivity and groups to address the needs of an organization. Please contact me if you are interested in partnering with me. Separate fees apply for each contract.
